Post Chip install question?

I just installed the JDM chip and had to put a piece of tape over the chip to hold it in. I was afraid that if I did not put something over it the chip would pop out. Did anyone else have to put something over the chip to hold it in? I remember reading in MM&FF that they used a piece of tape as well. I just wanted to make sure that I did not do something wrong.

Thanks

John

Good. Put plenty tape to make sure it does not move at all!!! How do you like the performance? Did you notice a big difference?

I am sorry to say that I have not even started the truck since I installed the chip. The truck is in the garage for the winter. I wanted to take it out for a test run the day I put the chip in but we got rain and then we got 12 inces of snow over the weekend so I have to wait to give you an update. My truck is totaly stock (for now) and only has the chip. Next is the air intake setup.

John,

I would recommend removing the bracket the "brain" rests on and removing/straightening the lip. Even though I secured my chip really well with tape, the lip still managed to wedge itself and jockey the chip.
