Post 01 lease??

Is it possible to lease a SVT product such as the L? Does anyone have any information on this? Have an 01 ordered and just wondering what options are possible. Thanks

Yes, but you'll be paying the highest rates. No promos for L's 'till season's end.

Yes,You can lease it.I think the residule is low like 51% for 3 years and 55%for 2 therefore your payment will be high but this is one vechicle that is not a bad lease vechicle. If you wanted to buy it at the end,The way the lease works on this paticular truck,It would not be much a bad deal at all.the payments will be high though

The problem is with these paticular vechicles, they hold their value so good that it would be cheaper to just buy it.in 2 years its really gonna be worth 22-24k much higher than the residule would be.

But yes you can lease. If you do dont put any money down!!!! That is the key to leasing!

The first people who bought the 99 lightnings like myself got a smokin deal. When there were only 4000 out,The resale was awesome! Now they are starting to depreiciate pretty good. One good thing that ford is doing is making the 2001 MSRP go up quite a bit so our values are better.I hope they are 33-34000 by 2003. If they are,Our trucks will not depreciate from this point on.In the real world,Our 99s and 2000s are basically worth 25-26k right now.if the MSRP keeps going up,Our trucks should be worth pretty much the same in 2 years.THIS IS A GOOD THING! But on the other hand,They are making more and more every year,This screws up the whole resale process.I heard in 2003,They will be producing 125,000 Lightnings....LOL JK

The residual is actually worse than you said. When I was looking, the 3 year residual was, get ready for this, 46%. Yea.

Needless to say, I purchased.
