Just read in March MM & FF that 2001 will have 5 leaf rear springs instead of three with a 2" drop and that fronts are now 650lb/in vs ? and 1/2 in lower. Claims new filter box is of larger volume and of course the larger hole in fender. This plus Bilsteins should make noticabble handling improvement. Looks like they have taken notice and of the changes we have made/wanted and did it themselves.

The 1999 model already had 5 leaf, all carrying load all the time...

 

Now only if they'd stop putting them on hold. I blame myself though. I had a great dealer the first time, and I wanted to save a couple G's so I changed. BIG mistake. Probably would be one of those guys that were dancing with joy about their trucks coming in Feb. instead of March or April.
