Weird

Engine developed a miss under acceleration, normal passing from 60-90, on the ride home from work. After the miss developed I noticed the WBC was reading between 15-17 under light load at cruise speeds before I got home. Changed the fuel filter, still missing at all rpms. Put the factory tune back in, still idling rough and af still bouncing between 15-17 at idle. Started changing plugs and cops, #5 burnt, #5-#8 changed, the rest looked fine, maybe a very slight green haze. Fired it up and same symptoms. Intend to change #1-#4 and check fuel pressure. Also looks like the IC pump isn't pumping so I'll remove and clean. Any other suggestions?

well it may be a bad coil pack, if one goes out the o2 sensors will see the unburnt fuel and lean out your fuel trims, that could explain the 15-17 reading which should normally be 14.5-15.1 or so.

A Lttle Help Here, Please

An update- I replaced all the plugs and cops. #5 was the only bad plug. Gapped the TR6's at .036 as before. The battery had been disconnected for 24 hrs. The factory tune is installed. Fired it up and the af was still bouncing between 15-16 at idle when before this episode it was always spot-on 14.7 at idle. The idle is rough, especially in gear around 600 rpm. Never like this in the previous 118k miles. I haven't road-tested yet as I need to check the fuel pressure and clean the ic pump.

Wouldn't bad O2 sensors throw a code? The only code I'm getting is P1000.
