Question Question about Progressive Nitrous Controllers and stuff

I'm in the process of putting together a Nitrous kit and I had some questions about progressive nitrous controllers. Is a WOT switch required when running a progressive nitrous controller? What are some of the progressive nitrous controllers all you nitrous guys are running. I have been trying to find information on the new Boost Referenced Controller that NX makes, but it's pretty new and I can't find anyone that's using it. I've heard good things about the FJO unit, the NX Maximizer (which I can't find anywhere), and the RaceTested Dial Progressive Controller. I'm sure there's a few others out there that I'm overlooking, but that's why I started this thread, so I can weigh all my options before making a decision.

Here is a run-down of what all I have on my list for my nitrous system...

Nitrous Express EFI Single Nozzle Nitrous Kit (NX# 20922-15)
Nitrous Express Iceman Purge Valve Kit (NX# 15603)
Nitrous Express Automatic Remote Bottle Opener (NX# 11107)
Nitrous Express Fire & Ice Pressure Controller (NX# SPEED00020)
Nitrous Express EFI Fuel Pressure Safety Switch (NX# 15718)
DynoTune Nitrous Switch Center (#705)
DynoTune Digital Nitrous Pressure Gauge (#007)

Is there anything else I should look into getting? Also, is there anything specific I need to know about hooking up this kit?

Thanks.

I STRONGLY recommend you talk to Rich, Wydopnthrtl.
1. He is a Lightning Guru
2. He is an engineer
3. He will forget more about nitrous then 99% of the people on earth know about nitrous.
4. He is a helluva guy and will take the time to explain in layman words... Heck even i understood what he was talking about!

Yes a wot switch is needed... that will activate the nitrous and the controller will calibrate the shot size, timing, etc... accordingly.

I'm pretty sure the $200 FJO controller has a throttle switch built into it. All you do is wire it to the trucks TPS. Ask Denny to be sure though... I know he's a big fan of them and keeps getting me to try one on the caddy.

Rich,

Have you heard about or have any experience with the new Boost Reference Nitrous Controller from NX? What do you think about it?
