Sure, if you don't mind replacing them every 6 months.

There's budget, then there's OBX.

Have you looked at Dynatech? Pretty good bang for the buck. Besides, headers aren't going to do jack squat for you if you're under 500 RWHP, except loose low end torque and HP.

i dont need them.. i figure for those who dont have the funds like some on here with money trees in the front yard this would be a great oppurtunity for the to jump on these.. Dynatech are expensive, i know i have them.. i have yet to see a set go for less then $875... and at the price the OBX are going for with cats and mids it is like a said before a bargain for those with less funds..

I was going to go with the Pacesetter painted set for $250, since the truck will not see too much weather, and I'll keep tabs on the finish...

But as these are SS, and already come with the mid pipes, I may just have to order a set now, and then save up for the rest of the engine parts I still need.

...oh, and I haven't forgot about the purge, Rich! I'm going to but you a new one and have it shipped to your house.....via DHL
LMMFAO!!!!!!

they are a copy of the dynatech's and they fit just fine, only issue I see is that they come with resonators instead of cats but highflow cats are 120 a pair from RPM outlet...

http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...=361264&page=2

maybe one of you fellers that is registered on that site can send this guy a PM and ask how they held up...

"Budget" and "Lightning" are irreconcilable concepts.

this is a great thread to help people save some money from, over-charging vendors.. i heard of a vendor or two on another forum selling headers at Dynatech and Kooks prices and they were actually Pacesetter headers, which cost around the same price as these OBX headers..

If you're planning on keeping your Lightning, you need to get the highest grade stainless headers. They'll last a lot longer. If you are just going to beat the hell out of it, and pass it on to some poor sap in a couple of years, the el cheapos will be just fine.
