White 2001 L
Somebody on the board wanted to know what there 2001 White L would look like. I just got Photoshop 6.0 and gave it a shot. I only spent 20 minutes on it so it's not perfect but it will give you an idea.
Would you do that with BLack as the color??? Or if you have a faster modem, you could send me Photoshop

I think I will change my order from red to white. That's a great photo. Thanks

Now, if you could turn that black one into a 2000 (or even 99 would do) model, you will be a god among men!

It does. It has extract, and hue, I have spent a couple of times highlighting a car or truck in the extract motion, but don't know what to do after I'm done with all the highlighting.
p.s I highlight all the stuff that I was to cut out. Takes awhile, but I'm a **** retentive perfectionist sometimes.

The way I do it is I use "magic wand" and "lasso" to highlight all the color leaving things like headlights windows wheels etc... then I copy the *shell* and open a new layer and paste it into the layer and that's where I play with the colors. I think 5.0 has it but I dont have 5.0 so I am not sure. But Adobe 6.0 has a window at the bottom right corner that has the three colors (RGB) Red,Green, Blue and when you select them you toggle on and off these colors this is how you get Black and White to get other colors play with hue/saturation or others. I also save the shell after I paste it into a new layer so you can try different colors, make sure to save it into a format that does not flatten the image *.psd. Then once your finished you select the the image again using magic wand its easier to select out side the shell and invert it. Then copy and paste it back into the original image and line it up, then do some touch up work to get it perfect then you can save it as a bmp or jpg or whatever. I taught myself how to use Adobe Photoshop like all my other software, so you maybe able to find a better way to do this but it works pretty good for me.

Looks good! Black looks the best!
The most precise (and fastest) way to do it is with a clipping path (the path tool). You set the anchor points, go in and adjust the path to outline the truck. You then turn the path into a selection (blinking outline) and work from there. Takes about 5 minutes once you get the hang of it. Hope this helps.

Personally I don't like Photoshop 6. Until they fix all the bugs, and get it up to speed, I'm sticking with Photoshop 5.5. They added too much new stuff, we have 5.5 and 6 on multiprocessor G4s and 5.5 is definitely faster.
