i just got my hood and i think something is wrong.

the last one I bought has like a mesh inside the snorkels.This new one has plain fiberglass(smooth) Which ones have you guys got? The last one i ordered from them was in 1998 winter right before my 99 lightning was "supposed to be built" . Im wondering if all the new ones are smooth or mine is screwed up?my 1998 hood seemed to be built a little better too had what seemed to be a better painting surface./This one doesnt seem to be as good quality.I remember clearly the black speckles all over the hood to look for workmanship,This one came in a real light grey smooth finish?

 

Ours came in with a smooth primer finish with the "mesh" in the scoops.

Doesn't look like it in this picture, but the "mesh" is in mine also.

Thanks guys,I clled them,they said they changed the design due to manurfacturing problems.
