When you talk about a ford employee and the A & X plan, are you speaking of Ford factory employees only or does it also include employees of Ford sales staff at your local dealership?

Only Ford employees(hourly and salary) can get A/Z/X plans. Dealerships are privately owned and are not employees of Ford. The A/Z plan can be given to immediate family only,father, son daughter-in-law, etc.(equals 3% below dealer cost). The X plan can be given to anybody(equals 4% above A/Z plan).

My father-in-law works for Dow Chemical and they get the x plan. Nice deal. Who decides who can get it? Do you have to contact a local dealer or Ford directly? Is it available for the L also?

I believe the X plan is negotiated in deals with outside companies. You would have to talk with your company to see if they have it set up with Ford. Ford employees also get this plan to give out now.

 

My mechanic at dealer is buying a new truck.

When I talked to him yesterday he said there is now a plan for Dealer employees.

Hope he is right...want him in a good mood when ever I get and intercooler for him to install.

So if someone qualifies for the X plan they can get a pin number and give it to anybody??

 

I all ready tried to bring up the X Plan with my dealer related to the Lightning and they turned it down. It is only good on cars in stock, not ones for order, and definitely not SVT.

 

The local dealer in Baton Rouge stated I could use the X plan. We shall see???
