How much boost should i get?

just got a 6 lbs. crank pully and a 2.80 blower pully for my 2000L and finally got a chance to put them on. my autometer boost gauge is reading about 13 lbs. at wot. i thought i would get about 15 to 16 lbs. of boost. is this about average for this combo? or did i forget to do something. and how can i get more boost? thanks, tony

You may have a little belt slip. When I went to the 2.7 upper I really didnt notice the belt slip but Johnny (JLP) picked it up on the dyno right away. I added the idler and picked up about 1 psi maybe 2. Look for belt dust around the blower snout or on the inside of the hood. Wipe your finger under the snout on the passenger side and see if you get any black residue on your fingers. It could be old dust and if you are not sure then clean it and check it after a couple days. Also, you may want to recheck your belt. Is the tensioner maxed out....A new belt may help.
