Question Moving shifter to the floor

I like the look of a 4-speed shifter (with white ball) and would like to install a floor shifter for the automatic in my Bolt. Perhaps install a 2nd driver seat and remove the 2/3 seat. I saw this in the Ford Truck mag and it was nice with a Nitrous bottle in between.

Anyone doen the floor shifter ? Where did you get it ? etc.

Thanks

aftermarket automatic shifter install
Sorry couldnt find the old pics I took so snapped these right quick.

used a hurst promatic 2 truck shifter

but basically unhook the stock cable from the tranny and the shifter under the dash.

Then you will have to position the floor shifter where you want it , mount the shifter on the floor by cuttin the carpet and pickeing your spot.

Next drill a whole in the floor to run the cable.

route it away from the exhaust.

They supplied different brakets with the shifter, I used the one for the 727 If not mistaken.

but get everything adjsuted correctly for gear position, this is what is time comsuming, but it can be done eventually and yes the dash prndl still works.

Hope these help
