Thumbs up JL's new program and praise(sorta long)

Well from the begining I've had problems with chips. I first bought a R9 chip and had problems with it pinging. After trying everything I almost just gave up on a chip period. I started talking to Johnny and he sent me his original program. The power was awesome, but still pinging in third gear. Well after many conversations with Johnny we went with his new program. The day I got the chip I decided to try Citgo gas(very bad gas),and well I was dissapointed when yes it pinged still. After talking it over with Johnny and Spiro too,we all felt it had to be the gas and we were right. I am now enjoying ping free power. I wanted to thank Johnny for his patience and support, and give him a positive word as most people seem to forget about you after they sell you thier product. It also goes to show you that no two vehicles are the same, and some just require a different tune than others, especially after reading how many people have had no problems at all. Now for the chip. VERY fast, especially up top!! It has by far the best street manners of any chip I've tried and is better than stock by a mile!! I would recommend this chip too anyone who is looking for a pleasurable driving experience, and still wants awesome power when you mash the gas!! Johnny thanks again and I'll be looking forward to doing more business with you. Thanks Mike

Thumbs up

Just last week I received my reburn from JL...with the new JDM program that JL and Spiro are marketing.

It's an outstanding chip. No dyno results yet, but SOP says its certainly as strong as the PSP chip I have which was a significant winner _on my truck_ compared to the others.

No pinging at all, at any time. Pulls extremely hard, shifts great, very fun to drive.

Glad we could help. It is very important to try diiferent gas stations if you experience any detonation. In many cases, gas will vary from station to station. I would recommend Sunoco 93 or 94 octane, Texaco 93, and AMOCO 93 which seems to be the best, but harder to find.
Or, everyone could move to DE where at the Royal Farms stop shop has Sunoco fuels, and especially the all mighty 100 octane.
