Are the stock speakers 5x7 all the way around??

They're 5x7 but 6x8's fit as replacements without modification.

They are all 6" X 8" and different companies make replacements that fit right in there with no hole modifications. Pioneer make 4 models that are that size(they are identified by the number 68 for 6x8). I just put 2 sets of TSA 6865's in mine. Took 1 1/2 hrs on the drivers side until I figured out how to disassemble it and probably 45 mins on the passenger side. They sold for $99 a set plus tax in all the local electronics but I got them for $65 a set with free delivery and no tax here: http://www.carstereotime.com/pioneer/pioneer03.html

Be advised though their webpage at the time wouldn't accept multiple orders of the same merchandise so (if it's not repaired) you should make 2 seperate orders. They do answer your e-mails within 24 hrs BTW.
