I'm going to let the cat out of the bag! Older guys just leave a little earlier depending on how long it takes for a message to get from the brain to the foot. On a bad day I leave on the first light but then I'm 63......Ken

Exactly, Ken! ANYONE can adjust to their "slowing reaction times"... the hard part is doing it consistently, which is where the practice comes in.

Kristi2000L it's funny you know about super tens and hub city . I'm one of the owners of super tens and hub city. Ralph and I hated we did not get to run another race at steele. We are are in the process of completing the 2001 schedule. If your interested in any street racing we are racing every sunday at hub city. We have about 4 L's and a bunch of whipped mustangs and would love to have you join us. Once a month we have a tire class race, that would be a great sunday to come down I'll keep in touch.

Thanks Todd

Age doesn't matter. Hey everytime I cut a good tree time, I think I messed up, Its true, its true. Last year at 66 I cut a perfect .500 and Half way down the track I was hitting myself cause I thought I meesed up. Last year at cordova I cut a .401 on the pro tree, thought I messed that up too. Practicing at the street lights doesn't really help that much.

Hopefully there is no on one this forum who might even remotely think that practicing at street lights would help. There are a few internet practice trees out there. I can give links if anyone is intersted. You can also buy the TAG handheld practice trees from Jeg's or Summit for under $200. I have one of these and I can just about use it in my sleep. However, the best practice, of course, comes on the track

Hey in my hood we got those new street lights with four yellows. You guys don't have those. The lines are a little off but hey IDOT's doing the best they can to make my drive to work a little more exciting.
