You know I have often wondered the age of many of the people with L's. Every one I have met as already gone threw there mid life crisis. Me I'm 19 and loving every minute of it. Yes I do live at home, and you know what who cares, My lightning is all paid for and has alot of toys on it, I got my ducatii sitting in the garage next to my L, with my new supercrew parked outside. So I don't want to hear any kid talk on this site damit. I am so messing with all you, Who cares about age anyway, Hey my girl got 6 years on me and she don't care, mostly cause she thought I was 26 for the longest time, but thats cause she don't like to date younger men. I'm 33 years old and also wondering how so many "youngsters" are able to get into the 'Bolt game. The first car I was able to afford was a 12-year-old Caprice with 80,000 miles on it, and it still killed me to insure and put gas into it at age 20 (you read that right - 20).

Blown00: I work at Brockton Cycle- what shop do you work at?

To keep with the topic, though, I'm living at home until I'm done with grad school, and the only reason I have the L now is cause I only had to put $1000 down...so I guess its yet to be seen if I can really afford it...

I order all of my motocross gear from Brockton - great prices and availability. What class are you NESC champ in? Do Dowd and Henry show up at any of your local races?

My "home" track is Budds Creek. Our local hero is (obviously) Travis Pastrana. A couple of years ago I had a nice conversation with him and his dad while waiting for my moto to start - the whole family is really cool. Travis is building a house and has a practice track about 2 miles from my parent's house, about 15 miles from my home.

MarkJ- Travis is definitely cool, and he's the next great ambassador for motocross/ supercross after McGrath. Anyways, I won the NESC Spring Series 250cc Amateur Championship, and moved up to expert in July. Dowd is usually good for making it to the Southwick amateur day the weekend before the national, and sometimes an occasional Silver Cup weekend at Bull Run in Maine. Next year I'd like to qualify for the Southwick National myself, and maybe for the hell of it some of the NY and PA ones too (Unadilla, Binghamton, Mt. Morris, and Steel City). There is definitely a fast bunch of guys up here though, like Tony Lorusso, Scott Carter, and Keith Johnson (of Cannondale fame), and Paul Veracka (who placed 3rd overall at Lorettas this past year in the Pro class). Sorry for taking up the non-motocrossers time with this long post, my B. Later...

Unhappy

Guess I'm the exception to the rule. Only 22 and can't afford the L. I was hoping to keep my 92 Ranger, but wrecked it and went for a 98 Ranger. Trying my best to save money so the payments on the L won't be so bad. Mean while I can dream can't I?

I am 33 and have a 1968 Bullitt green Fastback Stang, a red 1999 Ranger XLT Sport, wife has a loaded laser red 2000 GT Convertible, and I have on order a Black 2001 L.

The Ranger will have to go. :-)

I think I have the main bases covered! Life's good. Rock on.
