Added a 2000 Buell X-1 Lightning to My stable Yesterday. Picked it up a Harley Davidson of Pensacola FLA. Red with white stripes. Limited Edition...race kit and carbon fiber etc. Lookin` and soundin` Mean..post a pic tommorw.

No flame intended here, and this is not about your L but, why so many strange looking paint jobs on trucks in Alabama? I fly out there occasionally to Birmingham and am just simply amazed at the candy apple red paint with green stripes or gold and pink two tones on BRAND NEW FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLAR SUVs. Is it just a Birmingham disease,and if so, can it be contained safely?

 

I think those belong to CRACK DEALERS! I was just in Alabama last weekend (Back home for an early holiday) and the only wacked out truck I saw was an Navigator with 20 inch wheels, slammed to the ground with all kinds of crap hanging off of it (fender lip trim, all kinds of pimpmobile looking trim....).It belonged to a guy I KNOW is a coke dealer.

Congrats on the bike, but watch out for those oil leaks. A couple of friends have Buells and they leak oil like its going out of style.
