Warranty and Suspension Mods
I'd like to know how modifying my suspension will affect the warranty. I plan to lower my L 2 inches all the way around. I'm sure as "L" not gonna do it if doing so voids the warranty.
Well, the warranty on your suspension will be void... spring problems, shackle problems, leaking shocks... all that is on your nickel. Probably wont cover alignment problems, weird tire wear, bearing problems, etc.
The warranty on the rest of the L will be fine, i.e. if your A/C stops working, that's still under warrentee, I/C leaks covered, etc.
Warranty wise, a chip could get you into a lot more trouble than just a 2" drop...

Well, They could say beings you lowered the truck from the factory setting, inturn changed the angle of the driveshaft, so if you have any rearend or tranny problems they can relate to the drive shaft, you may be in for a treat in going round and round with them proveing the angle was not lowered. Just a thought
Can anyone tell me what the cost is (roughly) for parts 2" drop coils, camber adjustment kit and installation? I can spell

Front coils: 100-150$
adjustment kit cam/bolts: 60-100$
install: ??? (DIY! Not too bad, if you're into mechanic-ing.)
Alignment: 39-150$--probably according to where you go/how close you want it/how much time they spend.
Rear shackles: 40-75$ Easy to do as well.
