Talking First race in the L

Well I Could not wait any longer. I have had my L for 10 days now and have 650 miles on her.
Was driving home after some christmas shopping and pulled up to a red light. In the next lane is a 1991 BMW M3 c/w body bulges. Two you guys in it. I look over and see them lookong at the Lightning badge.
The kid edges forward and lifts his revs a little. (It was a stick shift) I just sit and wait. The light turns green and the BMW nails it. He jumps about half a lenth before I decided to go for it. I laid the pedal down just enough to bark the tyres and just blew past him. I must have pulled 2 - 3 cars before I lifted at about 4000 rpm still in first. ( Don't want to hurt my baby, She is still so young).
The Bmw comes up along side and trys at a roll of about 40 mph. Again no contest. At the next light I get him to roll down his window and confirm it is a 1991 M3. He said really cool truck. Cool race with some cool kids.

I looked up the 1991 M3 but could not find any performace stats, Just that they had around 200bhp stock. the only mod I noticed on his was the twin upturned tips.

Anybody know there 0-60? I would guess 6.5 - 7.5.

In 87-91 the u.s. model m3's had a 2.3 liter 4 banger. You had to rev it like hell to get it to go. It has 192 hp stock and less torgue. It was fast in it's time. My old 89 m3 was the funnest car I've ever owned. Sorry to say it but it was more fun to drive than my L. It is a drivers car. The L would out run it all day.
BTW i think 0-60 was 6.9 and 1/4 was like 16.5.
