OK, it you ground the white wire with the orange tracer that runs from the firewall (pcm) to the relay box doesn't this also back feed negative to the pcm when you throw the switch. If so is that ok or do I need a DPDT switch that will only send the juice to the relay and not to the PCM?

noelvm: all i did was put an inline fuse in and hook the switch to the hot side of pump and the battery. works great ! hope this helps JL

JL,
I assume by hot side you mean negative side as it is my understanding that the positive is hot all the time and it is the negative that is switched. What amp switch and fuse did you use?

i used a 15 amp fuse with a switch from the battery down to the pump..seems to work great.had no problems all year.
