Talking WFC 4

I'm thinking about making the long a$$ trip up to St. Louis from California and I need some information. And Yes, I know about their web site, but I must be dumb, b/c I dont' know where to find the answers. So if you all could answer just a few questions. How much is it to compete? What Class would a semi modded(=Chip, Filter, possible MT E/T Streets) L run in? Where are you all staying? Anyone know how long that drive would be in days? Who else is going? And I already know where to find the hotel information thanks to Christy Ann. Thanks in advance!

Hey Marcus,
We just did the drive from Denver to San Fran with a moving truck, dog and Lightning on a trailer in like 23 hours...I bet you can do it faster I would say 18-19 hours. Ummmm If I read correctly and this might change, entry fees were 50 and 75. Depends on the time breaks. You probably already know to go to clubramada.com and get your club number for a lower rate at the fairview heights Ramada. I bet most of last years gang will be going. Me, Jeff, Trace, Sal, Lis, Johnny, Sue, Steve, Sheila, Jim, Nancy, Bob, Spiro, the whole trouble making crew I'll be there and hopefully Wells will make it.

Cool

Thanks to all for the help. I realize this will be one hell of a drive. And I truly hope I can make it. This is all dependent on me getting my 2001 L b4 hell freezes over. Trace, that sounds like a great idea. I know I will be brining a co- pilot for the regular stuff, spotting cops, food places, bathrooms, and turn offs. Also, I think it's been decided that I'll make most of the drive, and when I get too tired, he can drive while I sleep. So that hopefully will cut things in half. What part of California are you coming from Trace?? I'm in the Los Angeles area.

Marcus,
That is a long trip for you, but I am sure you would love it once you got there. Looks like most are staying at the RAMADA in Fairview Heights. Not sure what it will cost to compete, I think you wil be able to pick up a 3-4 day package deal depending on when you plan to arrive. Not sure how long the drive would be for you, but whynot hook up with the folks from Denver and surrounding states..There's always cruises to the WFC, usually a convoy of Mustangs.

You would probably want to run in the street class, were not sure on the E.T. breaks yet, I know PSP has full sponsorship, but no confirmed word yet.

I know the drive from DE to St.Louis is 980 miles
