shifting in 2 second

shifting in 2 second
got a question for you guys . when your taking off hard does your L make like a slight pop sound as it goes into second? maybe its just me ? it just sounds different .it still hauls a$$ but i just figure ill ask the experts before i go to ford lol

My truck did that when it was new for a short period of time. I think it went away about the same time I added the JBAs (~5,000 miles - probably just a coincidence), or maybe it was the chip, or maybe the PSP filter, or maybe it was when......
Did it almost sounded like a backfire? I always suspected that maybe it was the result of a too-rich fuel mixture..

Does this only happen when you hold out first all the way and then the tranny shifts at like 5200? This funny sound you hear may be the 4 cylinder shut down that the stock computer does. I am not sure if it is the same since you refer to it as a "pop".
