Talking STILL RACING IN TEXAS

Well, it was in the mid 50's tonight and no wind. Not bad. Two lightnings showed Duck and me. We got to the semis and I had to run Duck. Sorry Duck but old age and craftiness will beat youth and exzuberance everytime. Ran a mustang for first and he redlited. I waved at the crowd. There was a late model firebird that was a drive in without a blower, but some mods including a computer but not hooked to a laptop. I though he was fast when he got to 8.01 then he ran a 7.95. This was a drivein car. I was impressed. Maybe we need an adjustable computer to take maximum advantage of weather conditions. The best I could muster was an 8.34, but traction was only fair.
