Question Interested in Buying a lightning..info needed

I am very interested in Buying a 1999 lightning but I am not sure how much my payments would be. If anyone here could give me an estimate of how much they pay a month and if the insurance is cheap or not I would be very greatful. Also If anyone knows a place that is selling 99 lightnings or someone that is please let me know.

Hi and welcome to the board.

Try checking the classifieds on this board and also places like cars.com.

As for the payments, there are so many variables. How long do you want the loan over etc.

Insurance. Not bad much better than a Camaro Z28, Mustang GT etc. I pay about 380.00 every 6 months. Again it will depend on age , driving record etc.

$380 every 6 months!!!!! What kinda coverage is that. The bank owns my 98 Ranger (yeah I know... I'm just wishing the good Lord would drop a L outside my door.) untill I pay'em back. So it has full coverage from state farm for apros. $650 every 6mo. No multi line or multi car discounts. I figured I was paying higher, age-22 tickets-<5 in 3 yr, but you're talking 'bout a L, SVT & big @$$ V8, and I'm talking 'bout punny 2.5L 4cyl. I'd hate to see what I would have to pay for L insurance. Life just ain't fair.

mocklab, rates are affected by the 'driver' much more than the vehicle. Full coverage on my 99 Lariat is $198.60 for six months.

I'm only telling you this because you're 22 and I'm jealous!
