Post WFC Hotel Info

I coulda sworn I had posted this. Okay, here goes...I made a block of 30 room reservations at the Fairview Heights hotel for WFC. The room cost for the club is 79.00 per night. They don't HAVE to be confirmed until April 17. There are a couple of catches. If you want to do this that's fine we have until then and you can forward me your info: Full name, phone, address and credit card to hold it. This will cover the first night room and tax as a deposit and must be made/cancelled by April 17 OR and here is the better alternative thanks to John...if you go to Ramada.com and join the Ramada club you should get a club number and be able to either book on line or with the 800-2-Ramada number and get a 58.00 rate, which is obviously better. Anyway, any feedback?

I'll try and call up one of stations that promotes racing events as they'll be more apt to do it. I'll check it out and let you all know.

Jakers,
Great Glad to help.

Gus,
The one you and I stayed in was also a Ramada.

Marcus,
Careful lol

1998,
Thank you I'll let you know if there is anything as far as the hotel is concerned. I'll also let Jeff from NLOC know you are in the area. I had suggested to him that on maybe tech in day since there won't be much movement from the pits we could get the traffic helicopter from a local new channel to do a fly over and take an aerial as we didn't get a team picture last year since there were so many of us. What do you think?

CA, thanks for the info. Who ever is in charge of their advertising should be shot!! I put in all sorts of combos in the search engine for World Ford Challenge and all I could come up with was last years event. Thats nice to know, but with my luck, I would end up quesing what is the right weekend this year and end up down there either a week early or a week late. the 18th of May is about perfect for me so hopefully I can meet you all before I ship off for Germany (Yippeee) in early June.

No problem,
I want to thank John and Johnny and Sue again. I am going to keep the block since there is no payment required until the 17th of April just in case everything else books up. For last minute bookers I'll suggest getting a Ramada number and then putting yourself on the waitlist for the rooms...that way when I let the rooms go they will clear the top 30 on the list.. Make sense to everyone?
