There is no excuse for leaving your truck interior dirty but everyone is always so quick to jump down a dealers throat for every little thing around here. If you don't like your dealer find another one or find someone you do trust.
Rear view mirror seemed okay, just both side view mirrors were changed.

You took it to World Ford in Pembroke Pines?! I'd pretty stunned that you had trouble as it seems everyone around here brings their Termi's and L's for service there. They were extremely mod friendly as well...in fact they even recommended a good shop for tuning and they gave me a loaner car without me even requesting one. Did you see the service advisor Steve?

My seat/mirrors were adjusted too. However, that doesn't bother me because whomever is driving/parking the truck probably needs to be able to see around them in a crowded parking lot.

The guy I had was a body shop service guy named Ted.

haha that sounds harsh but it is SO true. I worked at a Ford dealership for quite some time and almost EVERY time a Saleen, Lightning, or cobra would be serviced one or maybe more than one of the techs would take it to the lot next door and beat the living **** outa it. Sometimes even the oil change guys/kids got to have fun punishing vehicles.

All in all it really depends on the dealership you go to and the management team. Most dealerships do not give a damn about you unless you just purchased a vehicle directly from them. For a warranty issue...i guess you have to go to the dealership, but maybe taking an extra long drive to try a new dealership next time may be worth it. Dealerships generally hate warranty work so good luck.

hehehehe exactly what I mean

But there are a few good people and place left
I GUESS
SOMEWHERE
MAYBE...

You've all heard the story about me buying Blacky #1 right ?
I go on a list at 2 Dealerships Aug of 01 for a Lightning
I get a call in Feb 02 from Dave (the same SVT salemans that sold me my Cobra a year or 2 earlier) but now he's at a diff Dealership. All he says is are you going to be at work in a few minutes and I say Ya why ? He just says I want to show you something.....
A few minutes later this Beautiful Black L pulls in my lot and right up to my office window and walks in Dave throws me the keys and says take it out as long as you want, WOO HOO !!! woo woo woo woo
AND HE AINT COING WITH ME ; o )

I look at this old guy in my office and go hey wanna come for a ride, he's like ok. Poor old man, heheheheeh lololololo baw ha ha ha
I start it up pull out of my lot and go straight to the floor and down the road sideways. I come up to the light for the service rd of I495 make a right stop dead and power brake the SOB like you wouldnt believe, (what did I know all I can tell you is it was bounching off the limiter and making all kinds of noises)
Get on the parkway go straight to the floor and bring it up to @ 130 or so and enjoy that a while. Get off come over and around and stop again and do another KILLER Power Brake Then back on the parkway for some hi speed fun.

To make a long story longer I get back go ya ok I'll take it and he says come by tomorrow and you can take it home....
I show up the next day and he's like yo Rob we got a problem, I'm like WTF ?
All of a sudden the Mgr walks over and goes is this the guy that beat the **** out of my customers truck and left rubber all over it
And of course the real owner is there listening to the whole thing, hehehehe
So I'm yelling and he's yelling and Daves yelling and the real owners yelling and I'm having a good ole time. Then I go Dave we DO have a problem cause now I want a Black L and I want it NOW. After some yelling (me at him) he finds one out of State (Conn) and arranges for a retired couple to drive it to the Dealer the following day. He tells me they'll be in @ 12:00 noon but dont come to after 5 so they can detail it and do the bla bla bla ....
NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS THERE AT 11, I WATCHED AND MET MRS AND MR RETIRED, I LOOKED AT DAVE AND SAID IF YOU THING I'M LETTING THIS TRUCK OUT OF MY SITE

And I took home a very dirty un-detailed L a few hours later. But all I heard the entire day I was there doing the paperwork was about how each and everyone of them was doing donuts and burnouts and racing and and in L's anytime they show up at the Dealership. It was then I knew NO L WAS EVER GOING BACK, when my Tailgate molding fell off I FIXED IT, when the Windshield Gasket fell off I FIXED IT, the Cluck I FIXED IT, you get the picture....

BTW my Cobra was the same story at a diff Dealership
I bought it slighly used and used it was, 2nd gear would grind BUT ONLY if you went WOT and powershifted it, Ya go ahead and try and get a Dealership to find that issue. So time after time I got it back with them saying the Tranny is fine no grinding, I would take it back and under normal driving it was, but go wot and it would grind. After a few useless trips to the Service Department I walk into the Dealership one Sat afternoon and go balistic on Dave in front of a showroom full of people. It was only after another salesman came foward and said "Excuse me but he's right" when I had it out right before he picked it up (getting it detailed YA RIGHT) it was grinding when you floored it and shifted it : o ()
Needless to say I left them the car and had it back Monday with a perfect tranny and swore a Ford Dealership WOULD NEVER have one of my vehicles again (and never have....)

LMAO @ missing the Belt

Your Cool Bro, it sounds like others have found that Dealership to be a good one
JUST DONT BRING IT TO A NY DEALER (or who knows I may end up taking your L for a joy ride)
