Question Roar Intake

Was just browsing and found this cool looking intake from this company call Roar (www.roarinc.com). Its made of carbon fiber and looks awesome. They have one listed for a Lightning and its $319.
I'm considering ordering one for my '01 on order. Was wonder if anyone on this board has one or anymore info on this thing?
Thanks

The website makes my BS detector hit overdrive.... Megaram, Pulsewave, nano weight coagulate, hyperactive cooling ???

Too much for me....

The web site is really cool though..... Dont see any applications or prices for trucks

Doug

VPPT- definition: Velocity Positive Pulsewave Technology -the Hyper-Filter body design creates "megaram" pulsewaves that correctly arrive in a positive flow to pack more air into each cycle.

PFS- definition: Poly Filtration System- A highly effective reticulated poly pore material bathed in a nano-weight electro staticaly charged coagulate that removes foreign particles from the air flow. Oncoming air flow has room to pass around trapped particles in this 3d "super structure".

RAD- definition: Radiation Avoidance Design- materials that have "hyper active" cooling capabilities. Materials with insulation properties; dissipate heat on the outside which allows a denser air/ fuel mixture to travel through the inside.

Unhappy

The applications are under products just below the red Bmw.
I too got confused by all the techno ***** on the site. I just found out that they're located just 2 miles from my house here in Vegas. I might stop by to see for myself next week.

KGM-Thanks, I will make sure I hook up with you. What's your email? What year is your L and where did you buy it? The best I could get was MSRP from Gaudin through the fleet manager. I'm 6 on 8 that they ordered and was told that they will come in Feb.

Question

So Doug, sounds like you know how it works, or maybe even why it works; but, does it work? And does it add horsepower?

No Tim all I did was copy / Paste some of the BS they use as marketing.

The language they use reminds me of Multilevel marketing schemes. They talk a lot with fancy convincing sounding words that dont mean anything....

I gotta go I have some "nano-weight electro staticaly charged coagulate " hanging from my nose.... I have to go blow it ....

<GRIN>

PS They didnt even bother to spell check their web page..... Statically has 2 L's. At $319 a piece they could afford a spellchecker....

And what does this mean ??
" Take notice of the younger neo stamina found in a Roar intake system. "
