Boo Hoo Sky. You forget, this is not the first time Mike has made such comments to me, and used private e-mail to press his point. As for the issues between Ray and I, Ray has always been able to defend himself, perhaps something Mike should take the time to learn. You are the one who came here and to LS1 to tell us all about your family problems, including the alcoholism, etc. I didn't make it up, you posted it for all to read. Mike posted the info about you on the web, not me. I would tell you both to act your age, but you do, each and every time you post here and on LS1. By what I read, I'm certainly not your only detractor. Now stop reading Mike's e-mail, and tell him for me that if you get off the porch to run with the big dogs, you best be ready....or stay on the porch and have Sky run for you......

Dman I knew I didn't want to open this thread...Looks like I made the list, not that I am nice, but that I am fair. I dont expect much from anybody, but the very least. I dont even expect Ford to take care of my intercooler. Why? Becuase I would be very upset if they didn't fix it right the first time. What clunk?

I am with Bill Murray and Hitman on this one. I hate to even bring it up. As most of you know, I am 22. It has been mentioned that we are all faceless friends. I am in college, that doesn't mean much, but I do know that anything like the internet has never happened before, except for that biblical story when those people wanted to build a building to god or whatever. Hope I didn't offend anyone, I am a man of morals, not of religion.

Anyhow, what I am trying to asy is 99% of us never met eachother, we are brought here pretty much by one thing and one thing only, the Ford Lightning. Some of us get along better than others, and we all go through different things everyday. I am a mediocre chess palyer, but in life, I try to think 1 step ahead ateast 1 step. In the past I noticed that some members posted very personal threads about lost loved ones or tragic personal problems. I also noticed that other members of this group offered great help to people they never even met. I find that quite passionate. Very few of you noticed that I never posted in those threads, and that was on purpose. Not because I do not care, but because it is not my place to be apart of your/their business. I got the message from your posts, mainly in the title, and wished the best, just didn;t feel right posting about it. I have been through some tough times myself, before I got the truck, but I was raised not to boast about my problems, nor of my well being. I am 1/2 Cuban, and 1/2 Eskimo, not many of my kind running around. People ask what I think of Elian Gonzales, and people ask what I think of 'the white man' taking my land from me. But I remember my dad telling me "you either adapt or die."

I know I am rambling on, but what I see here is almost childish. Just like Sal, except no $$ involved. Metallic Blue has Chron's disease, a disease that not too much is known about. Heck I dont know much about it, but I try to pass the word, why? He and I are basically the same age. Seperated by 18 days. I have lived a damn good life, 1 broken bone, never been hungry, always had a warm place to sleep, not so much as a cavity.

Sure he's had it rough, I chatted with him a few months ago, I think he weighed in at 90 lbs or so when he should be at 150 at the least. He never thought he'd drive his Lightning again, could barely even start it just to make his day, to remember the times when he had the strength to drive it and beat any sports car.

What I am trying to say is, anyone of us could be in his shoes, if it weren't for him, would anyone have heard of Zaino? Thats what I thought took him off the boards. Lots of us were sick of hearing about it. I remember that.

Well, I wish you luck Metallic Blue. I ahve your email address, I'll eamil you tomorrow.

Hello people,
Those of you who have been around, know that im new to this board. I've been reading this board for about four months now.

I hope I can offer as much to the board as others with the same respect and courtesy that I've seen displayed prior. I'm here to share a common interest and to try and help people on this board if I can.

My job description, where I work and the contacts I have allow me to be a good candidate for helping! I was Always eager to see who's doing what and where. I was most taken at how much everyone was willing to help one another. That's what I liked about this board, enough to go out and buy a desk top a few days ago, just to get in here.

Life is to short to loose faceless friends in the rat race of life. A person vents about a dealership! So What!! If you don't like what you read and don't have something constructive to add why say anything at all? Offer support or go to another thread! This has nothing to do with being sick!! It was about, how the dealer made a person feel about a truck he cared about!! Something I will have in common once it get's built! I would hate to see the people I have grown accustomed to reading their post's with intersting views and oppinions leave because of this. I take no sides in this! Only that I get treated with the same courtesy that I give. Just my $0.02. Sorry for the long post!! For those who left, best of Luck!!

Thor01

Do you go to the track at all? Are you driving your truck in the winter? mine goes away on the 1st of Dec.Any ways nice to meet you and hope to chat again sometime if you want to chat more my E-mail is llesm@hotmail.com

Hi I am glad you are feeling better, and wish you all the best for the holidays. I am glad you found a dealer who respects your concerns.
I am new to the Lightning board, just ordered a silver 2001, and I was amazed at how one dealer treated me while SHOPING for a lightning, can just imagine how there service department is.
Anyways happy holidays
