Interesting Run
The other Nite I was driving North on Preston in Plano and stopped at a light. noticed a mustang with racing stripes on my right. The light turns green and I accelerate strong but dont think he was getting into it. I let off at 60 or so and he passes me on the right then pulls right in front of me then switches to the left lane. I guess just so I could get a good look at his car. At next light the kid rolls down his window and asks if I wwant to run em. I said sure but since I recently got a warning - added "if we get arrested its all your fault ". I then looked up and sawthe light was green so I punched it and looked over at him. He sat there with his mouth open. i think the "your fault " comment threw him off.... But it made me laugh.
A couple nites before that Came up next to a White Cobra Mustang on Marsh. We ran from 20 - 40 a couple times and I smoked him evrytime except once when the L down shifted hard and the tires went up in smoke. We stopped at a light, he took off hard but I babied it across the intersection since we had to cross the crown of the intersection and I knew if I hit it hard I would just spin as the rear end went over the bumps. So anyway he had me by about 2 car lengths when we hit flat road on the other side and I went to WOT and reeeled him in in a blink. Ended up in front by about 3 car lenghts. At the next light he says that mine was the only Lightning that has beat him. He must not have run many Gen 2 Lightnings because mine is not very strong and I dint have to try very hard to beat him both from a roll and from a stop
