whipple / 2.6 kb
i believe and i could be mistaken so if i am wrong im sure i will be corrected
.. the fastest Whipple is running 9.7 here on the east coast, and the fastest KB 2.6 i know of is on the West coast 10.3.. im almost certain that those are the top numbers for both blowers.. but like i said i might be wrong..

If you really care about looks, the Whipple looks more OEM. The KB looks meaner. The KB is an easier kit to install and the removable intake makes plug changes easier.
Performance and price are a wash in my opinion. There is no such thing as a direct comparison unless the same truck runs with one and then, without changing any other parts, bolts on the other blower.
For the KB, there is no price breaks to be found. On the Whipple, you'll find some retailers undercutting others.

I had the 2.6 KB on Big Red and have the Whipple on my current L.
As Mark said without having them both on the same truck with the same mods it's impossible to compare but I can tell you a couple of things I like about the KB. For one it's cake to install (I did it in a couple of hours), it DEF sounds better (mine had an amazing sound, I really really dug it), and there no doubt in my mind it has more low end power, (but then again it's a bigger SC). The KB with a 8lb Lower has got TQ like you cant believe down low, max
tq #'s are in the 3000 RPM range (makes it dam near impossible to get traction on the street with DR's even). The other thing as mentioned is plug changing, I did the KB plug change WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING except the rubber inlet boot and it was easier than ever before (I did have the EGR delete).
The reason I believe we're not seeing and hearing more @ the KB is there just wasnt a lot of them out there last year and there does seem to be a learning curve tuning them. BUT GIVE THEM TIME AND I BELIEVE THEY'LL KICK ***!!!
Now the Whipple on the other hand, once you get over the fact it has no whine
and the problem of changing plugs, you cant help but love all the success it's already had on the strip
It seems all the top running trucks are using them and they seem to put down big #'s and ET's all the time, AND I JUST LOVE MINE ...
BTW I know someone selling an excellent shaped Whipple with low miles if your decide to go that way

Hmmm... I may have to re-think my plans.
