I just picked up a new fog light at Texan off 290 just so I wont have a broken light on my truck (its just me ) .I'll just keep turning off the fog lights when its wet out. I need to get a good look at the 2001 fogs to see if they are glass or plastic . I dont need to get the new ones if they are glass too ,Then I'll need to find a aftermarket set .......

This is as common as the "clunk".. After running your fogs in DRY weather for a while, feel the lense!! Hot to the touch!! I replaced the bulbs with ultra bulbs, and they don't get hot at all. Water is the culprit occassionally, but the heat is the main factor. The Mustang bulbs were a different wattage..possibly?? Someone care to check their Mustang bulbs, and post part number? This should be a warranty issue due to the bulbs getting hot, and the glass not being tempered..

I've had to replace mine, I call Hella in New York and got a part # from them and then ordered from Pep Boys. I think they were $27.00 each. I'll look for the part number and I think I made a post that has the part #.
