Well I just got done talking to rick anderson about the new lightnings and he said that they are working on a bunch of new toys for us L owners. I told him how fast I wanted to run and he kinda basically told me that I was going to have to rip the motor apart in order to get that fast. Lots of work. He said to just stick with the bolt on stuff for now and maybee a nos kit. also said to deffinetly do a complete exhaust front to back. He said that we just got to wait for more companys to come out with the kind of toys and after market parts we need to go sick fast. Just thought you guys would like to know about the updates on the front.

If you read all the data that streams thru here you will see that exhaust doesn't do much if anything at all. I would follow the tried and true and keep some of that money in your pocket for gas!

I have delt with Anderson Motorsports in the past, in all honesty, leave the mustangs to him, thats what they do best. There are plenty of go-fast goodies ready to come out soon...be patient There is enough aftermarket out there now for mid to low 12's

I don't know cause from what rick told me, they have done a lightning for a customer and with the heads ported and polished they are getting a significant amount of horsepower from the bassani off road kit, which has no cats. He said that if you want to spray the truck then you should get ride of the cats and put a complete exhaust kit on and you see an improvemeant, like 20 to 25 horse rearwheel. I hope so. I'm also doing the complete exhaust for the extra sound. I like the way the bassani's sound, just wish they were long tubes.

I've bought thousands of $ worth of stuff from Rick Anderson in the past until I wised up. He'll tell you what he thinks you want to hear or sometimes he'll push something off the wall on you just 'cause he has a bunch of them lying around at that time. After the sale he doesn't want to hear from you. As far as the exhaust I understand that up to about 500 horse the stock exh is ok. Much over that and exh mods MIGHT help.
