Funny how a Ford attracts a crowd at a Dodge dealership
Took my Dodge pickup in for a long list of mechanical failures to the dealer yesterday. My Wife parked the Lightning just outside the Service Advisors booths. One of them comes out, starts asking all the questions, I gladly start giving him the skinny. He asks if I can lift the hood, up comes the hood and out come the advisors, mechanics and salespeople. I had a crowd of people gathering around it asking all the good questions. One of the mechanics has been around a Lightning, all the rest had not, but had heard about them. Of course you all know that I had to inform them about just how bad this thing cleans up the
R/T 5.9. It was a very pleasent gathering of people.

Ditto, went to the dodge dealer to get parts for my broken dakota I was selling,,and the garage emptied out..One mech. knew the L's and called everybody else out to look..He told the others,,chai'nt no r/t gonna touch this...

Some times when I'm driving around I like to just go in the dodge dealership and drive around and look at the trucks, just to see all the salesmen come out and wish dodge had somthing to compete with the L's. gotta love it

Yes, it happened to me too. They asked if it really came with the ground effects, and where I got the wheels and tonneau cover. Then I started asking them hard questions like how much does the R/T weigh, how much torque the kenne belle adds, and howcome they haven't sold.
I didn't get anywhere. They were 99 models 'brand' new. Price was sky high.

I'd come out to see *ANY* reasonalby <sp> fast car/truck. I don't really care what make it is 
I've had great discussions with people with L's who pull up next to me in my R/T in a parking lot or light. It's pretty kewl around this area ..everyone seems to get along quite well ...
