Post grrr, bad gas, then missed opportunities

crap, on the way home from work (I drove the "L" today) I was in a hurry to miss rush hour(s), I was low on gas so I stopped to fill up, wasnt looking at what grade & start to fill up with 87 (aaaaarrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh) get about 8 gallons in b4 I realize what I am doing. CRAP
So I continue on the way home figureing I will pick up some octane booster (I have Sal's chip w/ the pinging so would be worse with 87 octane) on the freeway what do i see??? A Saleen S281, damn that bad gas (I dont want to risk opening it up & get detonation) so a missed opportunity there.
Well I stop & get my octane boost (NOS the good stuff), & get back out on the road & need to go to another gas station to finish up filling up & add the boost. Well what do I see in front of me hum..... would that be a 93 Cobra that is making all that noise, lowered roll cage hummmm... YUP, thats what it'd be. DAMN he rolled into the side lane & slowed down a little bit so I could catch up, well almost, I didnt fall for it & drove rigth past him, about a mile later he then turned off onto a side street, probably never to be seen. again DOUBLE DAMNIT
Woe is me!!!!
