12.37 @ 110.15 / Cecil County....
First off I would like to thank all the guys from www.Superstallions.com that let us into their closed Cecil County session.
I had a blast with everyone there, we all ran incredible today. I know that me, JL, and Rick @ Amazon Racing all improved on our top E.T.'s with the Help from the "master" Jim D'Amore.
Today was a great day as JL described in his post. After last weeks Blistering run of 12.61, I also thought there was no improvement for a better E.T. But that was far from the truth. Jim D'Amore installed a 1-2 lbs. pulley on my truck a few days ago, and did a slight modification to the chips programming, and I must say was very pleased.
The day started off great, Temp was between 55-63 all day, Humidity around 57%, and the Barometric pressure started at 31.41 but dropped to 30.47 by the end of the day.
MY first pass out netted me a 12.63 @ 109.78, from there the E.T.'s just kept dropping as the B.P. was dropping. My best times came toward the end of the day, I only stripped out the Passanger seat and spare tire. I ran a 12.37 @ 110.15 and backed it up with a 12.38 @ 109.38 WOW!! I honestly never expected my truck to perform this well, I was really expecting 12.50's with great air. There are many here that have met me and know me very well, Before all the questions begin... I made all runs without the aid of NO2, not that I havent thought about it
I once again would like to thank Jim D'Amore for all the time he has spent tuning my Beast in the last 2 weeks, he has been more than patient with me. We believe there is possibly 12.0`s in the trucks future, but for now I am a happy camper with what I have.

Great runs Spiro. And I thought I was doing good and starting to catch up with you guys by finally making it into the 12's today at Byron. I did it 16 times out of 21 runs however, with a best of 12.81 @106. The air was great today and hardly anybody but 5 Lightnings showed up to race on Byrons' last day of the season. Looks like I've still got lots of work to do before WFC2001.

Jim,
Spiro must have gone on a diet along with his truck.
You missed a really good day at Byron today.
Zor Prime and I both got well into the 12's, and BlackSVTTruck ran a 12.72. Say Hi to Nancy for me. I'm planning to go back to Iowa next weekend. Let me know by chance you plan to be in the area.

What's next. I even check Spiro's glovebox for one of them sneaky peters hehehehe. I to think 11's without NOS is posible. Getting these trucks out the hole seems to be the trick. The better the 60' the et really comes down. Again Congrats Johnny,Spiro,Linn.

Woo-hoo!! Awesome times, Spiro! You guys are running awesome!
I hope you weren't complaining at all about the air.
31.41" of baro. pressure! That's like adding some boost, man.
Down here where Caka and the rest of us TX boys are, we're lucky if its 29.90". Huge difference there. Not to mention 50+^F that you guys see often.
Oh well...us southern boys can't compete. End of story.
Congrats on the times. That is truly AMAZING!!

Thanks Wes,
I was so surprised to have picked up even though the B.P. was dropping...It was mind-boggling, still cant figure it out
I was seeing around 12 lbs. of boost on the Auto-meter
I guess we are kinda lucky up here in the North East to have such great air. I'm looking forward to some runs in the middle of January at ATCO raceway, as long as its above 32 degrees that it....otherwise they are closed. You guys will have good air soon, any tracks open year round down there?

Spiro,
We do get good air down here occassionally. Best I've ever run in was several years back and we saw 30.20" baro. press., ~40^F, and humidity was in check.
What's strange is that all of our good 1/4 mile tracks are closed by now. I know that sounds dumb. I figure its b/c we tend to get literally 70% of our yearly precipitation in the Nov.-Feb. months, and the tracks don't bother trying to stay open. Thing is in April or October, it can easily be 90+^F here.
Oh well. Great job, and continued best of luck!
