Unforunately, Zor spent the rest of the afternoon in the Port-O-Potty.

Better the Port-O-Potty than the hospital! that was the first Lightning run I recorded too. Something just told me to record that run. Lloyd

*******IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE*******

What they didn't tell you was that Rich's accelerator pedal got stuck to the floor by his new group purchase Haig mats. He did not wait for the correct eyelet on his set. Note that the original Ford mats are cut out beneath the pedal. The Haig mats are not, and may have to be trimmed.
Everyone who bought these Haig mats(myself included, though I haven't put them in yet) please check to make sure ther is no interference between the mat and the accelerator pedal before hitting WOT again.
The L brakes are great but can't stop the beast at WOT. I wouldn't want anyone to hurt themselves or the truck by not passing this info on to you.

no wonder you guys are runing such fast times, look at the track its down hill!! Just look @ those pics you can cleraly see (well through the smoke) that where he spun out, is the bottom of the downward slop, then it starts to go back up & levels off @ the trees. Humph, I want a track that goes down hill also!!

looking through the sideveiw mirror this looked really bad, like a blowout headed for a rollover.i think zorprime has a lot of guts for running the nex't round.[dirty shorts or not]this proves once and for all that a L owner will kill for a cheeseburger. and that poor tranny[can you say ford tough] this was one day at a track i won't soon forget.

The track is an optical Illusion. It appears to be downhill, until you are at the finish looking at the start. Then you can see it is level. It's the uphill shutdown area that creates the illusion! I don't run any faster there than at GLD. Lloyd

Hey guys,
The downhill slope IS an optical illusion.
I used to think if I brought my Escort I'd run in the 12's but that is NOT the case. If you stand at the starting line and roll a tennis ball down the track it will only go as far as you can roll it. Now back to the
hostile nickname calling...

"The Garden Weasel"
"The Landscape Artist Formerly Known As ZorPrime"
"White Lightning Crabgrass Control"
"360 HP Weed Eater"

Now bring me.... A SHRUBBERY!!!!!!

Question

Wonder if any of you could maneuver like Zor. Seems like he knows how to handle himself in a tight situation. Who was he racing anyway?
