a stall should cut about half a second off your 1/4 mile time. But expect your daily mileage/drivability to drop.
I vote cats. It will sound louder and give you some gains. And you will still have drivability aspect of it no problem.

Stall!!!!!!
A hell of alot more fun and a hell of alot quicker if you have the traction and does not effect your gas mileage/drivability with just a 2600 stall. Besides, who the hell is worried about mileage/drivability when you own a bad ars truck that's blown. I had an A1-11in. 2800 in a 429CJ 1970 Torino and changed to a Neil Chance 10in. 4000 and picked up over 6/10and nearly 3mph.
Hell of a deal.
