Thumbs down ATTENTION EVERYBODY WITH SCROLLING MARQUEE POSTS!

When you use these sideways scolling posts, you are screwing up all the posts after yours! The messages disappear & can only be read by clicking on the edit box. Please post without the scrolling, It will make reading the posts a whole lot easier! Lloyd

I have absolutly no problem viewing posts from people who use the [ marquee ] posts. And I access this board from three different computers ( UNIX Workstation, Macintosh, PC )using two different browsers ( Netscape, Internet Explorer ) on three different systems ( T3, Cable, Modem ).

You need to find out what the problem is with your computer. Try updating to the newest version browser and operating system.

What are you using ?? What hardware, operating system, browser are you using ?

Well, I turned it off, but I still don't understand the problem. It must have something to do with old obsolete computers.

Thanks noel, It's working fine now. I'm not using an "old computer", but then again I'm not the only one having problems with this. It may be a small percentage of people, but to those who have the problem, It takes forever to read the posts. Lloyd

I am using a webtv plus. I'm not sure what browser it uses, I believe all the software is Microsoft. It is only about 6 months old, & just had an update about a month ago. I've never had any problems, EXCEPT this. The reason I use this setup is that I now have a 61" monitor! You can get real comfy when on the net. I haven't had this problem with any other boards, and I'm on about 6 or 7 of them. Thanks for taking the time, & having the consideration to help. Lloyd

it does the exact same thing on my brand new iBook w/ the latest version of Internet Explorer.
Does not do it at all on my new Compaq Presario w/ Netscape... weird.

But you have me beat by 1"!!
I only have a 60" incher.
Isn't that what they made recliners for? (webtv?)

Dan

It seems that there is only BulldogSVT causing the problem now.

Those of you with WEBTV and others like AOLTV will have this problem cause the browsers they use are very limtied in the scope when compared to regular computer based browsers like MSIE and Netscape. To my knowledge, there isnt much you can do to update them.

Hope this helps some.

Eric

Thanks for the input, maybe the few narrow mindd people on this board will understand the problem better. It affects some computers too.
