I took my truck to the dealer for them to find the miss & fix the clunk. The service writer had no idea about the clunk. I had him look up the TSB, & he ordered the parts. I told him about the miss under load when hot, they did about 5 different tests, but couldn't find the problem. The mechanic said without a code he didn't know to fix. I told him my gut feeling is 1 of the coils, he said he can't just replace them all. Ford would complain. I asked him if he could test each one, he said no. His solution: Drive it until the check engine light comes on! B4 I picked it up they figured it out: a loose coil pack. So if you got a miss check'em to make sure they're tight. The truck runs strong again. at least I know I can run a 14 second pass on 7 cylinders without a chip! Sorry for the long post. Lloyd

Cold weather here in Texas (60 degrees) finally. maybe Friday nite I'll get my 8.34 1/8 time which I hope will let me in your 12 second club since my strip is only 1/8. It will be interesting to see our trucks in the coooooool air. I don't think we will ever match your 60' times; however I am looking at JATO. hehehe

if a 8.34 gets you into the 12's let me know.I have a bunch of time slips under that and they are on the border of 12's but not quite that 12.99.

 

I had a 8.22, that was a 13.07 run
