Post Z06#'s vs Lightning Dyno

Check out this link, the Z06 #'s appear to be as strong as some of the more stout stock L's...

That's the guy that dyno'ed up there while we(me and JagcLightning) were there!!! That run time was against mine. I had the lead all the way until after the 1000' marker when he pulled ahead and beat me by .099.

Talking

I talked to the guy after the run and you tell he was frustrated that a truck almost beat him. Bottom line is though, that when he finally figures out how to control all that power and put it to the pavement, he will no doubt be in the 12s.

If you want an MPEG of the race just gimme an e-mail address. It is a sweet machine, but the fact is I had the lead all the way down past the 1000' mark and he passed me in the literal last second or so of the race. My 13.330 to his 13.231.

Hey CHAINS, have you been up to Lapeer Raceway in the past few months. I think we lined them up together?

You were running slicks at that time!

While I know much of the discussion on this board focuses on drag racing, I recently had the opportunity to run against a Z06 on a 3.5 mile road course. I think the results may surprise you. I turned a 2:54.78 to the vette's 2:56.20

Some of this is driver, I'm sure but these trucks can be real sleepers.

This is probably easier, go to this site
http://www.geocities.com/metlhed57/index.html

right-click on VsZ06 in my favorites links category and select "save target as" to download it. Don't laugh at my small site as it's under construction.

coolva, Dynosource Mobile dyno had his set up there. He did mention returning, I think he said next weekend but if you wanna be sure call the track or him(804-363-3966). He charged $60(well, $59.95, but you never see the nickel) for 2 pulls. The numbers in my sig are corrected for temp, etc. BTW, the actual were 388hp/460tq.
