160 Degree stat robbing my power??

I just installed LFP's stage 1 performance package containing a 4# crank pulley, tr6 plugs, diablo tuner, and a 160 degree thermistat. I also have a K&N cold air intake kit. Well my problem is that I took it to the dyno today and it read 326 rwhp on the best pull. The guy at my local performance shop told me that the timing was not changed at all, and most likely due to the cold stat. He said it wouldnt let it go into closed loop which in tern wouldn't let the timing adjust. LFP told me that I should be seeing approx 380 rwhp. Does the stat problem sound like a fix to you guys?

It defenitely sounds possible that your t-stat is keeping the PCM in open-loop. Put the stock t-stat back in and see what that gets you. Don't worry so much about the numbers cuz that's just what they are, numbers. I'd be more concerned with the fact the tuner said the PCM won't go into closed-loop.
