Stumble At Throttle Tip-in

STUMBLE at Throttle Tip-in

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When lighting pressing on the throttle (TIP-IN) the truck stumbles and hesitates.
driving down the expressway and giving light throttle to maintain speed, the truck stumbles, give it a little more throttle and it takes off!

Could this be the tune only? Could it be comething else?

Highly modified!
No new mods have been added since last tuned

Plugs, fuel filter, pumps is where I'd start in that order.

Change the plug(s) and/or cop(s). I had this problem and posted a little while ago with a guy who had the same symptoms and it fixed all his problems. I'd start with replacing the plugs and go from there.

I'm currently fighting the same type of issue. Going to JJ's to troubleshoot it tomorrow. I'll let ya know if its tune related, or part failure.

Been fighting the same problem here for a while. Geesh these trucks are finicky! I just figured my probelm out tonight. It was the EGR valve. A quick way to check to see if it is the EGR valve is to pull the vacuum line of the top of the valve and plug it by sticking the vacuum line boot on the bolt (the one with the threads) that secures the EGR valve to the plenum. If the stumble goes away, which mine did, it's the EGR valve.
