Post Weird E-mail

I was checking my e-mail tonight and found this one. Does anyone recognize the sender? I thought is was funny until I read about how he can steal my L. Maybe it's a joke, but it's not funny. E-mail is attached.

'00BlackLightning, Her name is Jenny. She doesn't live in Texas, and had never been to Texas. So I doubt that she knows you personally. I think it was made out to be more of a joke, like, "OHHHH, I'm gonna steal your Truck, b/c it's soooo nice!!!". Not sure why she chose you. I'm talking to her right now. To be honest with you, she seems a bit slow.

The only concern I would have is the person knows you own a lightning so it is not a mass e-mail sort of thing.

Ok, well, Her name is Jenny(as you know), She lives in Virgina, 2 hrs. away from N. Carolina. Her father owns a Lightning. And she now wants to steal my 2001 Lightning. OH and she's 15!

-Marcus

Hope this eases any worry!!!

Thanks for clearing things up. Guess I can disconnect the 24 volt battery from the door handles and the "automatic knife in the back device" from the drivers seat.

No problem, she more than likely did a search, and saw maybe in a profile of yours that you owned a Lightning. She was just being childish with you. And yeah, disconnecting that Knife in the back device might be helpful, you might forget about it, and, well, you would die happy, but you'd be dead none the less.

If you are really worried about this then contact AOL and tell them what happend and give them the IP address. 205.188.157.5 Every time you post a message on this board or send an email to someone it sends you IP address (sort of like your house address) with the email or post. This is done so the email or post can be tracked down from the house and computer it came from. I don't think AOL will give you a name unless you bring the Police into the issue.

Hope this helps

John

man I hate to say it, but I would contact OAL, or who's going to stop her the next time she decides to do this. Show her that she cannot get away with this, I dont care how old she is, that is how crap in the world starts. First just a little scare then she might decide to do it (who knows). But show her that this is not something to take lightly!!!!!
