ported heads and Exhaust

ported heads and Exhaust
Now I've heard everybody talking about doing exhaust on their trucks my question is has anybody gained any kind of et from it.
This winter me and my buddy's are going to does a custom exhaust for the most part. We were planning bassani headers and the Y pipe and then custom pipe back with no cats into a 3 chamber flowmaster. My friends all have mustangs that run low 9 and 10's. So when it comes to this stuff I leave it to them. I do the stereo's. I guess I'm asking whats the best setup dor this truck. I want to go faster but I want more sound out of this truck too. I only drive this truck on the weekends now.
Also I wanted to know if anyone has done the heads on their truck and a new cam. Thats the next plan for this truck. I seriously want to run low 12's high 11's without any spray. Somehow I will get it there. But the trick is not changing the motor.
