How about a mini Sport truck?
I call it "Mini Me" /.
Rear view.
It is a 2000 Ranger Sport with a 2.5L 5 sp. with a 4.10 traction loc differential. It has been lowered 3 inches with the new Bel Tec kit. The exhaust is 2.5 in dia. stainless steel, Lightning style. The wheels are the new 2001 Bullitt 17x8's and yes I know how to make them fit, they will not bolt on. Running on B.F.Goodrich Comp Sports 255x50 rear 255x45 front. It has a Pro-M air meter, My power pipe and a Mike's MotorSport chip that blows reveille to this little 4 cylinder. Plans are to start building an intercooled Garrett T3 turbo as soon as I finish building a few components for others.
PS. Yes, I plan to be in the chip business soon.

Screw the little 4-cylinder.......throw in something different...
Try a L motor (a 1st gen one tho...the 351 will fit better) or even a 2nd gen 5.4
hell throw a 302 and turbocharge or supercharge it
Or at least get......HEY what a SWEEEEEEET idea!!!!!!
Put a Coy Miller Stage two 3.8 V6 in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im a thunderbird guy and this is one of the best V6's you can get.....and this guy knows his sh*t... (this engine will put a (race weight) 4100 pound thunderbird into Lightning 1/4 mile times)
Go here
http://www.coymiller.com/
go to engine programs.....if you think the price is high go and look at everything he does in the site....this guy is meticilus in his building

Hi Ray,
I know who Coy Miller is. High HP 3.8L motors. Wait until I get done I will have the weight to HP ratio on my side and I will be going hunting for Mustangs and Lightnings. Also I am not giving up on the Lightning. My friend just ran 14.8's with his Focus, with a few serious mod's he will be looking at Lightnings is his rear view mirror.

My mini me would be a black Splash (no stickers)with a tricked out Super Coupe 3.8 SC motor, 5 speed manual tranny, and a 410 gear. Lowered with Cobra R wheels and some sticky tires.

Hey SVT54SC
I've got two black Splash's too. Here is one of them. Lowered 3/4 with chrome Cobra wheels, Goodyear F1's, Pro-M and a chip and a killer sound system.

Nissan has a factory supercharged frontier. Don't know how fast it is but I thought that was pretty cool.
Trending Topics
The Nissans are cool, but 17 second 1/4's are too slow for a supercharged truck! Take a Slash with a 4.0 in it, add a superchager and Cobra wheels & you have a junior L! Lloyd

Dave,
Should I really answer that question. Same as the number of digits on both of your hands. Like Noah I think that I was collecting two of everything. There are a few exceptions like my 1928 Model A Phaeton. This vehicle is a true phantom as it was a four door Phaeton that I converted into a two door and did a lot of reworking of the body panels. It is full fendered and I plan to set it down on 32 rails with no fenders just like a true street rod. I want to run a blown flathead in it. Should I say this, its got a chevy in it right now. I'll get back to it when I get older and can fit in with the street rod crowd.

mike how dare you, "old enough to fit in with the street rod crowd" and "chevy motor"? you're never too old or too young for street rodding, its just too cool. c'mon mike admit it you're just having too much fun in the techno world right now, its not that you don't fit in, it just doesn't challenge you. CHEVY MOTOR? did lightning strike your house when you wrote that? i mean it, you better go look outside i think your BaBolt is probably trying to run into your house. cool MINIME, love the exhaust, the wheels, the idea.
