Post Going to dealer, take out superchip???

I am going to take my Lightning in to check on a transmission noise. Should I take out the Superchip, or leave it in? Has anyone had any void of warranty problems with the dealer?

Thanks,
Justin

Yes some have had problems. My dealership doesn't care. Many do. You should know your dealership. If you don't, I advise taking out chip, put cover back on. Remove tape and tape marks and disconnect battery to remove codes, at least 10 seconds.

ABSOTULEY, take out the chip. The dealership might be OK on chips but if you get some pain-in-the-a$$ service writer that makes a note in the computer, you're dead no matter where you go from that point on.

Removal of chip, and reseting computer only takes about 5 minutes, why wouldn't you take it out?? It's not that time consuming.
What you do is, disconnect the battery, then pull your chip, re-connect your battery simple.......

Unless like stated you have a good relationship with your dealership, luckily mine wants to see an improvement each time I go to the track with my beast And yes, they know about each modification that I have done.

Question

Spiro,
What dealer do you go to? Preston has been cooperative but the 70 mi round trip sucks.

GalaxyEng,
I go to WINNER in Dover. I was lucky enough to have made friends with some of the "big-dogs"

Won't reseting the PCM throw a code that shows drive cycles not completed? Won't that clue them if they pull the codes?

Any reason why you can't just remove the chip? If the chip causes codes I suppose that is a different story though.
