I believe in the times....have a question...I have heard of racers applying VHT compound to their stock rubber, was wondering if you did? just curious

No VHT, although the track may have appied it earlier. traction wasn't as good in the beginning so I doubt it. Maybe the other cars burn outs made conditions that good. Lloyd

Just out of curiosity, any idea what 0-60 mph time would be in an L that does 1.63 60'?

I was thinking 4.5 sec 0-60, or is that crazy?

 

Lloyd, out of couriosity, what rpm are you launching at to get that great 60 foot time?

I'm not even close to that with slicks

My best is a 1.89 on Slicks.

I'm sure it had a lot to do with track prep too. My times slowly went away. 1.6 1.7 1.8 1.9 Then I went home. Lloyd

 

Even High Risk-Probably the fastest Lightning on the board with Nitrous CAN'T RUN those 60ft times. But you can with just a chip and a filter????

There was another lightning there that had a best 60' of 1.84 with a JL chip & mass air.

 

There was 190 cars and trucks at the Summit ET Drag Finals and it happened TO 30 ALL US before they corrected the problem with the computers.

 

Not to pee in your Cheerios but I think there must have been something wrong with the lights or the timing computer.

My best 60' was a 1.637 with two 1.67 to back it up these runs were with a 100 hp shot of NOS right out of the hole and 28x11.5x15 Goodyear slicks.

Here are all the #'s for that run:

Which of my 60' do you believe then? in order of the way they were ran: 1.94 1.87 1.98 1.63 1.64 1.79 1.85 1.90 1.89 1.94 before I went home. I also ran a 2.01 in the other lane with a passenger before the 1.63 even if you throw out the 1.63 & 1.64 there's still a 1.79! Mike (sillysyclone) was a witness as to the way the truck launched. Also on the 1.64 run I had a chevelle with slicks to the 330' mark by .11 & he ran a 12.35! one last thing, My 330'was 5.24 (not that you believe it). Lloyd
