Hey Rob

Why not put down a marine plywood floor then bolt the legs to the ply floor.
Truck weight will do the rest.

Or shake that Money Tree again and build a garage on the side of your house.

yeah

Ah so Don plans on taking advantage of me lack of experience hu
Consider yourself lucky. It's usually 20 year old females that Don takes advantage of their lack of experience!!! Hahaha.

I agree with Todd. I have one of these on the outside of my shop door. Need to get some aircraft cable and some turnbuckles and put some support up there. When that material get's cold, it's prone to tear as well. This ice storm we just had, my reinforced frame held up good, but the material started to tear.

Couldn't you find black ratchet straps?

This thing is going to be the eye sore of your neighborhood by the time you are done!! Hahahaha. Beats getting the truck rained on though!

Cool

HI!... The storage tent I bought is only $200(CAN) but got mine for $100(CAN). It's 10'x20'. Mine is a little more robust than ROB's. Mine has 3 rows of steel rods (1/4") that go between all the roof poles. They have left/right hand thread adjusters to make the rods tight and to pull the poles together tight. You could walk on mine with no problems. As for supports, I made up 16, 1/4" diamter 18" long rods with a "L" bend in them. I then staked them through the base supports criss crossing each other. I then got 4 7FT lonf snow fence poles and using a post pounder, pounded them 3FT into the ground. I then tied the 4 most outer tent support poles to the snow fence poles. We have had up to 65mph winds here during the winter and my tent has not had any problems and it's out in a empty grass lot. I've got two 4FT long dual florescent light fixtures hangin from the center beam in mine. Plenty of light to work on the truck after it gets dark.

Wow sound like quite a set up Neal

AND THANK YOU
I'm already in the planning stage on how to add other supports, been snowing the last couple of days here and once you get a 1/2 foot up there it's clear to see you want more support. It takes the weight fine but in a major blizzard (which isnt uncommon for here) I'd be scared schittless if I wasnt at home to swat the snow off it "if it took on a foot or two". AND you just made the job a tit (can I say tit ; o 0
I sell 1/4" - 1" Threaded Rod at work and all the goodies that go with it, all I need do is drill a few hole, go right through the large 2" main roof poles, and use washers and hex nuts to put it all together WOO HOO THANKS......
(as for staking it down, as soon as the ground thaws a little it'll be set in cement)

Bro
If you can put a side the schitty MPG this SRT8 is unfriggingbelievable.
I cant speak for all jeeps, but as for this very much Benz influenced SRT8,
it'll Whoop a stock L all day any day street or strip, it'll out top end pretty much anything out there, and if you tried you COULD NOT get it sideways.
"and I'm talking about including driving on a sheet of ice"
Never in my life have I seen a perfomance vehicle have the grip this thing has in rain snow and sun.

The fact it has a built motor from the factory with more than you can ever imagine is just the cats meow....
