Question ? about big mouth filter

Most people are telling me to get a big mouth filter for my airaid system. Where do I get one and is it better than the K&N that came with it?

Don't know if it's better. Theoretically it should be better, but I haven't seen and real sound back-to-back dyno testing to prove it. I believe this is the one your looking for http://www.autophysics.com/ .

csvt,

3.5" x 9" if you want the same size as the K&N.

Some have opted for 10" or 12".

Question

DJY, any reason you use the 10" rather than the 12" if they both fit?

The reason I went with the 10 inch Big Mouth filter Darryl had this cool purple anodized spacer with a lite purple gasket hose that looked really cool!!! The 12 inch filter you need no spacer and it fits really good! The 9 inch just looked to wimpy and bolted on like the K&N filer does. I really donot know which gives the best perforance wise. I tried all 3 for a week each. I think I just went for the looks. Darrly does sell all his filers, spacer, hoses in different colors. I must admit the K&N filter seemed like there was a loss in power! DJY
