Talking SCCA?

So, everyone here at work on the "Cars" mailing list seems to be poo-pooing the fact that I'm gonna get my L and blow the door off all their little souped up A4's, vtec's, mustangs, etc. I don't think any of them have any idea as to what they're in for

But they all run on SCCA tour events... and am just curious, have any of you guys ever run at SCCA events (if trucks are even allowed), and how you've all fared. I have no doubts about the L in the 1/4, but how does it handle in anything but a straight line w/ these guys?

Nathan does some serious SCCA stuff and goes through breaks like a madman.

I myself have only done 2 Solo2 events so I'm still getting the hang of it.
