Question for White2000SVT!
Do you ever go to the Tower shops on Friday night?
I'd like to see your hood. I bought one from AAD and the fit and finish were sooooooooo poor, a finger on each side of the hood, that I sent it back.
Looking for alternatives, especially since the ram air concept seems close.
If interested in getting together, there are five or six L guys that frequent the shops.
Come see us.

I am interested in info. on your hood. I have been considering an AAD myself but if their quality is poor, I don't want one. From all that I have read, people seem to think the hood is great. Yours is the first to make a negative comment which makes me veeeery interested in what you have to say.

Actually, no I don't go to the Tower Shops...but I have lots of friends that do, and ever since I got the L they have been trying to get me to come out there. I've been trying to wait til I get a few more mods before I go out and show it off. But, for a fellow L owner....what the heck. I was pretty pleased with the craftsmenship of the hood. The fit was not "perfect" but with a little tweeking (bumped the fenders in a hair to close up the gap) It looks great to me. Just haven't figured out what to do inside the vents yet. Looking for some kind of mesh to match the grills. Anyway, what time do you all usually show on Friday??

Did you go to Tower Shops last night? I didn't make it up there last night, but I will definatly try to next week.
Do you all go up to Moroso very often? I went last Sunday for the Ford Fest, but didn't run the L because they had eliminations all day....should have gone Saturday.
